CYCLING WITH POWER ASSISTANCE

What is pedal assistance?

The bike is equipped with electric pedal assistance.
The motor enhances your efforts, thus increasing your
performance while you deliver less power. The functioning
of the pedal assistance depends on whether the pedals are
being rotated and the cycling speed. When accelerating
from stand, the acceleration is high so you have an easy
start on the way.
Minimal rotations per minute
Electric bikes are fitted with different kinds of sensors to
measure pedal frequency. If the pedal frequency gets too
low these sensor are unable to accurately measure the
RPM and this can result in less or inconsistent electric
support. A minimal predal frequency of 55RPM is advised.
A middlemotor even have the best support above 70RPM.
The current RPM can be viewed through the Qwic App

Different power assistance levels

The assistance supplied by your e-bike motor can be
adjusted to your needs. Depending on the type of motor on
your bike, there are several levels available for assistance.
The assistance level can be set through the control unit. In
a low assistance level you can reach a long distance with
a single battery charge. Select a higher power level if you
need more power, to arrive at your destination early or
scale a big hill for example.
i
Please note a more powerful motor support
mode will result in a lower range.
