The drain hose connection has an internal diameter of 13/16" (21mm). If the end of the drain hose
does not fit onto the sink connection, use an adapter purchased at a plumbing or hardware supply
store. A hose clamp must be used to prevent water leaks.
Secure the drain hose to the sink cabinet wall to prevent the hose from bending at the connection. If
the hose gets bent or kinked it may cause a drainage problem.
The top of the drain hose must not exceed 39" (990mm) above the bottom of the dishwasher or
drainage and backflow issue may result. Alternatively, the drain hose may be connected to a floor
drain.
