When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following.
• Please read these instructions carefully before switching
your humidifier on.
• Make sure that the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds with the voltage in your home.
• To prevent electric shocks: never immerse the appliance,
the lead or the socket in water or in any other liquid
whatsoever.
• Never use the appliance for any purpose other than that
for which it was designed. Any other usage shall be
deemed hazardous and inappropriate.
• If you notice that the appliance, the power lead or the
socket have been damaged, unplug the humidifier
immediately and do not use it any more. Repairs must
be carried out by a qualified person.
• The humidifier does not contain any maintenance parts
for users. Do not dismantle the appliance.
• The use of accessories not recommended by the
manufacturer may result in an incident, an electrical
discharge or injury.
• You must take extra special care when the humidifier is
being used in the presence of children.
• Reserved for domestic use. Not for use outdoors.
• You must be extremely vigilant when the aquarium humidifier is used in the presence of children.
• Children cannot recognize the hazards associated with the usage of electrical appliances. For this reason, always
supervise children when they are near the humidifier.
• Never place the aquarium humidifier near a hot surface, in a hot oven, or close to electric or gas hot-plates.
• Do not place the appliance directly on the floor or next to a heating vent. If the mist comes in contact with the floor
prior to evaporating, the floor surface can become damaged.
• Place appliance where it is not easily knocked over.
• Only operate the humidifier when it is completely assembled.
• Do not run power cords under carpets, and do not cover with throw rugs. Arrange cord so that it will not be tripped over.
• Never pull the plug from the outlet by the cable or with wet hands.
• Do not use the appliance where combustible gases or vapors are present.
• Do not expose the appliance to rain, or use near water, in a bathroom, laundry area or other damp location.
• This unit must be used in its upright position.
• Do not allow foreign objects to enter ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or damage to
the appliance. Do not block air outlets or intakes.
• Do not pour water into the mist outlet of the appliance.
• To protect health safety and proper humidifier function use only clean, contamination-free, cold, fresh tap water in
your humidifier. If your water source is contaminated or if you are uncertain of its safety use distilled water. In addition,
it is advised to clean and maintain your humidifier in a timely manner as instructed in this manual.

• Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface, away
from sunlight.
• Never place the appliance close to a hot surface, in a
hot oven or close to electric plates or gas hot plates.
• Never touch the transducer with your fingers or with a
metal object.
• Never move the humidifier if it contains water or if it is
switched on.
• Never leave any water in the reservoir for too long a time:
this can result in the formation of bacteria.
• Unplug the humidifier before cleaning it, putting it away,
or if you are not using it.
• This appliance is not designed for use by persons,
including children, with mental or physical disabilities or
sensory deprivation, or by persons with no knowledge
or experience of electronic devices, except in
circumstances when they are being strictly supervised
by a responsible person.
• Keep the user guide in a safe place for future reference.
