3.3 SERIAL OUTPUTS

There are 3 serial outputs in the standard configuration; they are
normally assigned as follow
- COM 1 is connected to the internal reader
- COM 2 is connected to the internal printer
- COM 3 is available for additional peripheral devices (remote
display, additional readers.)
Further serial outputs can be available on additional option boards
