Removing the telephone module

On the telephone module, press and hold
button ; for approximately 20 seconds.
LED : flashes first red, then green.

Briefly press button ; again on the tele-
phone module.
The telephone module is reset to factory
settings.

Deactivating the telephone module

Deactivation is only useful if you do not intend
to use the telephone module again with
COMAND/the audio system.
The telephone module can and must only be
deactivated if system variant A is installed in
the vehicle.

To deactivate the telephone module:
switch on COMAND/the audio system; see
the separate operating instructions.

In COMAND/the audio system, select
Telephone
and confirm.

In COMAND/the audio system, select
connect MB SAP

Push release button : in the direction of
the arrow.

Slide telephone module ; in the direction
of the arrow and remove it.
