Connecting a mobile phone to the telephone module

Wait until indicator lamp : signals that the
telephone module is ready.

On the telephone module, press and hold
button ; for approximately 3 seconds.

If a mobile phone is already connected and
the telephone module is logged into the
network: initiate a call by entering "0001".

In COMAND/the audio system, select the
text message function; see the separate
operating instructions.

If only the telephone number of the
received text message is displayed: in
COMAND/the audio system, select
Options/Display

Select the text message with the name of
the mobile phone that is to be connected.

Call the sender back.

Depending on the mobile phone used, you
may have to confirm a connection query
from the telephone module on the mobile
phone.
The mobile phone must be set to "auto-
matic"/"authorised: yes"; see the mobile
phone operating instructions.

In COMAND/the audio system, enter the
SIM card PIN and confirm if the system
prompts you to do so.

To connect another authorised mobile
phone: insert the telephone module in the
bracket ( Y page 12).
