    SMA Solar Technology America LLC 6  Electrical Connection Risk of injury when pressing out the filler plugs • To connect the conduits to the input openings of the Connection Unit, gently press out one filler plug for each conduit opening from the inside with a blunt object (e.g screwdriver handle).

    7  Commissioning SMA Solar Technology America LLC 7 Commissioning 7.1 Inserting the String Fuses Insert the string fuses before commissioning the Connection Unit. Requirements: ☐ Only UL-listed string fuses according to UL 2579 are permitted. ☐ The fuse size must be 10 mm x 38 mm (midget format).

All parts of the PV system must be mounted and set up prior to commissioning the Connection Unit. Commissioning occurs via the inverter circuit breaker (see inverter installation manual).
