3.1 Initial use

Adjust the cooking duration accord-

ing to the chart. Pre-cooked foods
require higher temperatures and
shorter cooking durations.
• Remove the packaging of the appliance and
clean the parts (see 4.1).
3.2 Operation
1. Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
2. Slightly press the cover opening switch (5) to
open the cover (2) of the appliance.
3. Raise the handle (4).
‒ Make sure it is fully raised. A click will be heard.
4. Raising from the handle (4), remove the basket
(9) from the inner container.
5. Pour about 2-2.5 liters of water into the in-
ner container and make sure that the oil level
remains between the minimum and maximum
levels.
Do not use the appliance when the

cooking container is not in place or
when there is no oil in the cooking
container.

Only use good quality oil. It is not
recommended to use butter, marga-
rine, olive oil or animal oil/fat.
6. Plug in the appliance.
7. Set the Thermostat and On/Off button (7) to
the desired temperature.

‒ Once the thermostat' s white light has gone
off, start frying.
8. Place dry food into the basket (9).

Do not overload the basket (9).

Do not put water or wet food into
the basket (9).
9. Place the basket (9) into the appliance and
close the cover (2). Pull down the slide on the
basket handle (4).
‒ Immerse the basket in the oil.
10. When the frying process is over, open the
cover (2) of the appliance by slightly pressing
the opening switch (5).
11. Hold the handle (4) and raise the basket.
12. Remove the basket from the inner container
by pulling up the handle (4).

3.3 Setting the timer

Turn the knob to set the timer (6) to the desired
value (30 minutes maximum).
‒ The appliance will turn off when the set time
has elapsed.

Reset the timer (6) for the next use.
