Connectors

The following connectors are used:
J1 (Backplane Connector)
This connector is used to connect to the CD-CP00-US blade or other
blades in the chassis.
J5 (Ethernet Ports)
There are eight ports for 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connectivity. Ports
are auto-sensing for speed, duplexing, polarity and MDI-X.

Switches

SW2 is located on the CD-ETIA blade.
Settings
shows the switches and their settings. Note that SW2-3 is the only
setting that should be changed on this blade. SW2-3 can be changed from
On to Off to reset the blade to the factory defaults.

Power and Thermal Considerations

The CD-ETIA blade draws about 6W of power from the 3.3 VDC supply. For
PoE, the maximum power draw is 123W from the 48 VDC rail, if all ports are
set to Class 3.
Dynamic PoE configuration is used to prevent overloading the 48 VDC supply,
which has a limit of 96W.

Environmental Considerations

The following environmental conditions apply to the CD-ETIA blade:
Operating Temperature: +32°F ~ +104°F (0°C ~ 40°C)
Recommended Long Term Temperature: -4°F ~ +140°F (-20°C ~ 60°C)
Operating Humidity: 10 ~ 90% RH (non-condensing)
Recommended Long Term Humidity: 10 ~ 90% RH
