OPERATION BATTERY CHECK Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal on the car battery, then connect the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal. • The “Battery OK” LED (F) will light up if a voltage of at least 10V is detected. BATTERY CHARGE LEVEL With the engine not running, (ignition key in the first position), turn on the headlights of the vehicle for approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Turn off the headlights and remove the ignition key. Now disconnect the negative terminal (-) on the car battery. After 10 minutes connect the red clamp to the positive terminal (+) of the battery, then connect the black clamp to the negative terminal (-) of the battery.
