➤ Attach the new lead gel batteries with the four screws and four nuts in the battery
mount (fig. 5 B and fig. 5 C, page 5).
➤ Remove the terminal caps from the new lead gel batteries (fig. 5 D, page 5).
➤ Place a terminal clamp for the positive terminal on the respective positive terminal
of the new lead gel batteries (fig. 6 A, page 5).
➤ Place a terminal clamp for the negative terminal on the respective negative termi-
nal of the new lead gel batteries (fig. 6 B, page 5).
➤ Tightly fasten the terminal clamps on both lead gel batteries (fig. 6 C, page 5).
➤ Place the battery compartment lid on the bracket (fig. 7, page 6).
➤ Tightly fasten the battery compartment lid using the four screws (fig. 7, page 6).

NOTICE! Beware of damage
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as
these can damage the lead gel batteries.
➤ Clean the lead gel batteries with a damp cloth from time to time.

Fully charge the lead gel batteries at least every two months. Overload-
ing the battery or storing it for too long without using it may cause per-
manent damage to the lead gel batteries.
