FM3000 VHF Radio Operations and Information Quick Guide
Specifications: 13.8VDC +/- 15% @ 5.5A max (TX), Output power:25W (High) or 1W (low), Audio power:4.5W @4 ohm load

Notes and troubleshooting:

Intercom mode: Inhibits transmit (TX) and receive (RX) functions
Microphone Lock Function: Press and hold the [16/9] key on the microphone, turn power "ON" to toggle the lock function on or off.
No speaker sound: Internal speaker may be turned "off", use the Set Mode (see page 2) to turn "on".
Sensitivity is low: The attenuator may be activated, Press [LO/DX] to turn the function "off".
No Transmit or high power: Some channels are for low power or receive only, change channels and/or press [HI/LO] for high power.
Scan does not start: "TAG" channel is not programmed; set desired "TAG" channels (see page 12 of the operators manual).
Distress call will not transmit: MMSI (Maritime Mobile Service Identity) code is not programmed (see operator manual page 13).
