• Motors must be installed and programmed, where necessary, by competent installers.
• The standard range of motors is designed to operate blinds, awnings and shutters. The SLT, OREA, range are designed to operate
cassette awnings only and the ORIENTA range is designed to operate external venetian blinds.
• The rated torque and operating time required must be calculated when selecting a motor to be used in a blind, awning or shutter.
• On existing manual installations, before installing the motor, remove any redundant cords and disable any parts not needed for
powered operation.
• For products necessary for the safe functioning of the motorised installation, refer to the Somfy catalogue.
• Install an omnipolar isolating switch upstream with a minimum contact opening space of 3,5mm
• For awnings, a horizontal distance of at least 0,4 m is to be maintained between the fully unrolled driven part and any permanent object.
• In order to have a safe roller shutter application, one of the following conditions must be respected:
- A biased off switch (or a momentary switch) must be installed at 1.5m at least from the floor,near the moving part or within sight of the appliance.
- Safety devices such as photocells or safety edge should be fitted.
For motors with manual override equipped, the operating component is to be installed at a height less than 1,8m.
• Only use Somfy approved accessories. ( adaptors & brackets etc. )
• Only use Somfy transmitters with the RTS motors. For other control options refer to Somfy.
• Before carrying out any form of maintenance, isolate the power to the motor and or controls.
• PVC type H05-VVF cables must be installed inside unless they are protected by conduit or trunking which is sun resistant.
• Examine the installation at regular intervals. Do not use the installation until any faults have been rectified.
• If the supply lead is damaged it must be replaced by a Somfy cable ( Choose the reference in the Somfy catalogue) specific to the ALTUS 40,
FTS, LS40, MC PRO, Orienta and SOLUS PA these motors must be returned to aftersales department Somfy in order to avoid danger.
• Do not allow children to play with any of the controls or on the end product.

• Errichten, Prüfen, in Betrieb setzen und Fehlerbehebung darf nur von qualifizierten Installateuren vorgenommen werden (es gilt auch VDE 0100, ).
• Die Standardmotoren sind zum Antrieb von textilen Sonnenschutz, Markisen und Rollladen entwickelt. Die SLT, OREA, Baureihe ist
zum Antrieb von Kassettenmarkisen, der Orienta zum Antrieb von Außenjalousien entwickelt.
• Der Antrieb, das Drehmoment und die Laufzeit müssen auf die Gesamtanlage abgestimmt sein.
• Vor Arbeiten an der Anlage sind alle zu montierenden Anschlußleitungen spannungslos zu schalten. Leitungen und alle
Einrichtungen die nicht für die Betätigung mit einem Antrieb benötigt werden, sind außer Betrieb zu setzen.
• Produkte, die für Sicherheitsfunktionen notwendig sind, können dem aktuellen Somfy Katalog entnommen werden.
• Der Kontaktabstand der Bedienschalter oder Taster muss wenigstens 3,5 mm betragen
• Bewegte Teile des Antriebes müssen in einer Höhe von mehr als 2,5 m über dem Boden oder einer anderen Ebene die Zugang gewährt, installiert werden.
• Bei Markisen muß im ausgefahrenen Zustand, horizontal, mind. 0,4 m Abstand von allen festen Gegenständen eingehalten werden.
• Die Markise vom Versorgungsnetz trennen, wenn Arbeiten wie z.B. Fensterputzen in der Nähe ausgeführt werden.
• Um eine sichere Funktion bei Rollladen zu gewährleisten, sind folgende Punkte zu beachten:
- Den sich bewegenden Rollladen beobachten und Personen fernhalten, bis der Rollladen vollständig geschlossen ist.
- Beim Bedienen eines Handauslösers bei offenem Rolladen Vorsicht walten lassen, da er schnell herabfallen kann, wenn Federn nachlassen oder zerbrochen sind.
- Ein Bedienschalter oder -taster muß einsehbar, von sich bewegenden Teilen entfernt, min 1,5 m über dem Boden installiert werden.
- Die Vorderplatte des Rollladens muss um 40mm angehoben werden können, wenn oben auf die letzte, in ihrer komplett entfalteten Position
auf 0,16m gesetzte Lamelle eine Kraft von 150N ausgeübt wird.
Bei Motoren mit Nothandkurbel muss die Gelenkkurbel unter 1,8 m installiert werden
• Es darf nur Original Somfy Zubehör verwendet werden (Adapter, Lager, Stecker ...)
• Es dürfen nur die geeigneten Somfy Sender verwendet werden.
• Vor Arbeiten an der Anlage ist der Motor und / oder die Steuerungen von der Spannungsversorgung zu trennen
• PVC Kabel H05-VVF weiß dürfen nur in Innenräumen oder in einem UV Licht beständigem Lehrrohr verwendet werden.
• Kontrollieren Sie regelmäßig die Installation. Bei Beschädigung darf die Anlage nicht benutzt werden.
• Beschädigte Netzleitung müssen durch die jeweiligen Original Somfy Kabel ausgetauscht werden (siehe aktuellen Somfy Katalog). Die Kabel der
ALTUS 40, FTS, LS40, MC PRO, der Orienta, und der SOLUS PA Antriebe müssen an den Somfy-Kundendienst zurückgesendet werden.
• Kinder dürfen nicht mit den Steuerungen und den Endprodukten spielen.

• Ce moteur doit être installé et réglé par un installateur qualifié auquel ces instructions sont dédiées.
• Les moteurs décrits ci-dessus sont conçus pour motoriser les volets roulants ou les stores à l'exception des moteurs SLT, OREA, qui
motorisent exclusivement les stores cassettes, et les moteurs Orienta, qui motorisent exclusivement les stores vénitiens d'extérieur.
• Le couple et la durée de fonctionnement doivent être compatibles avec les caractéristiques du produit porteur.
• Avant installation, enlever et mettre hors service tout ce qui n'est pas nécessaire au fonctionnement motorisé.
• Pour tous les composants non fournis et nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de la motorisation veuillez vous référer au catalogue Somfy.
• Utiliser uniquement les accessoires Somfy pour la réalisation de l'installation ( roue, couronne, support, embout....).
• Les moteurs équipés de récepteurs radio doivent être exclusivement utilisés avec les émetteurs Somfy. Vérifier la disponibilité de ces
émetteurs auprès de Somfy.
• Dans le cas d'usage du moteur en extérieur, le câble d'alimentation en PVC (VVF) doit être intégré dans un conduit résistant au vieillissement solaire.
• Prévoir en amont sur le circuit un dispositif de coupure omnipolaire (distance mini d'ouverture des contacts : 3,5mm).
• En cas d'installation sur un store à bras une distance horizontale d'au moins 0,4 m doit être respectée entre le store complètement
déployé et tout objet fixe.
• Pour avoir une installation motorisée d'un volet roulant la plus sûre possible, l'une de ces conditions doit être respectée :
- Si l'installation est commandée par un interrupteur sans verrouillage celui-ci doit être installé en vue du store ou du volet roulant et à
une hauteur d'au moins 1,5 M.
- Le tablier de volet roulant doit pouvoir être remonté de 40mm lorsqu'une force de 150 N est appliquée vers le haut sur la lame finale
placée à 0,16m de sa position totalement déployée.
Pour les moteurs intégrant une commande de secours, l'élément de manœuvre doit être installé à moins de 1,8m de hauteur.
• Lors des opérations d'entretien, ne pas faire fonctionner le produit mais le débrancher du secteur.
• Examiner régulièrement l'installation. Ne pas l'utiliser si des réglages ou des réparations sont nécessaires.
• Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un câble Somfy spécifique (disponible dans le catalogue) sauf pour les
moteurs ALTUS 40, FTS, LS40, MC PRO, et SOLUS PA. Ces moteurs doivent être retournés au SAV Somfy afin d'éviter un danger.
• Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec les dispositifs de commande ni laisser l'émetteur à leur portée.
• Si un doute apparaît lors de l'installation du moteur et pour toutes informations complémentaires consulter:
- Le site web Somfy : www.somfy.com.
- La documentation fournie par la société Somfy de votre pays dont les coordonnées figurent sur ce document.
• De motor dient geïnstalleerd en afgesteld te worden door een vakbekwame en erkende installateur aan wie deze aanwijzingen dan ook gericht zijn.
• De hierboven beschreven motoren zijn ontwikkeld voor het automatiseren van rolluiken en rolgordijnen met uitzondering van de modellen
SLT, OREA, die uitsluitend bestemd zijn voor het automatiseren van zonneweringen voorzien van een cassette, en van het model Orienta, die
uitsluitend buitenjaloezieën automatiseert.
• Het koppel en de werkingsduur dienen overeen te komen met de specificaties van het dragende product.
• Verwijder en stel, vóór de installatie, alles buiten werking wat niet nodig is voor de werking van de motor.
• Raadpleeg de Somfy catalogus voor de niet bijgeleverde maar benodigde onderdelen voor een goede werking van de automatisering.
• Gebruik uitsluitend Somfy toebehoren voor het uitvoeren van de installatie (meenemer, adapter, steun, eindas ....).
• De motoren voorzien van een radio-ontvanger dienen uitsluitend gebruikt te worden met Somfy zenders. Doe navraag bij Somfy om te weten of deze
zenders uit voorraad leverbaar zijn.
• Indien een motor aan de buitenzijde wordt gebruikt dient de PVC (VVF) voedingskabel in een geleider te worden geïnstalleerd (onder de goot)
• Breng vóór het circuit een omnipolaire stroomonderbreker aan (minimale openingsafstand van de contacten: 3,5 mm).
• Hou, indien de motor geïnstalleerd wordt op een jaloezie voorzien van een armmechanisme, rekening met een minimale horizontale afstand van 0,4 m
tussen de volledig ontvouwen jaloezie en elk vast en onverplaatsbaar voorwerp.
• Om een optimaal veilige installatie van een automatisering op een rolluik te verkrijgen, dient één van de volgende voorwaarden in acht genomen te
worden: - Indien de installatie bediend wordt via een schakelaar zonder vergrendeling dient deze op tenminste 1,5 m hoog en met zicht op de jaloezie of
het rolluik geïnstalleerd te worden.
- Het rolluikblad dient 40 mm opgetrokken te kunnen worden bij uitoefening van een naar bovenduwende kracht van 150 N op de onderste lamel
geplaatst op 0,16 m van de volledig ontrolde stand.
- Voor motoren met een geïntegreerde noodbediening, dient het bedieningselement tenminste 1, 8 m hoog geïnstalleerd worden.
• Laat het product niet werken tijdens onderhoudswerkzaamheden en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Controleer de installatie regelmatig. Gebruik het apparaat niet indien afstellingen of reparaties nodig blijken te zijn.
• Indien de voedingskabel beschadigd is dient deze door een specifieke Somfy kabel vervangen te worden (verkrijgbaar via de catalogus) behalve voor de
ALTUS 40, FTS, LS40, MC PRO, ORIENTA en de SOLUS PA deze motoren dienen teruggezonden te worden naar de Servicedienst van Somfy om
gevaarlijke situaties te voorkomen.
• Laat uw kinderen niet met de bediening spelen en bewaar de zender buiten hun bereik.
• Raadpleeg bij twijfels tijdens de installatie van de motor of voor nadere inlichtingen:
- de Somfy website: www.somfy.com.
- De documentatie geleverd door het Somfy filiaal in uw land van vestiging waarvan de adresgegevens in dit document vermeld worden.
