Front panel audio connector (10-1 pin AAFP)
This connector is for a chassis-mounted front panel
audio I/O module that supports either HD Audio or
legacy AC`97 audio standard. Connect one end of the
front panel audio I/O module cable to this connector.
We recommend that you connect a high-definition front

panel audio module to this connector to avail of the

motherboard's high-definition audio capability.
RTC Battery header (2-pin BATT_CON)
This connector is for the lithium CMOS battery.
M.2 socket 3
This socket allows you to install M.2 (NGFF) SSD
modules.

• This M.2 socket supports M Key and 2260/2280
storage devices.
• When a device in SATA mode is installed on the M.2
socket, the SATA_2 port cannot be used.
• Due to the Chipset limitation, when an M.2 device is
installed in PCIe mode, the socket is set to PCIe 2.0.
M.2 Wi-Fi Slot (E-Key, type 2230)
This connector allows you to connect an M.2 Wi-Fi module (E-Key type 2230).
