B The non-woven cloth of the filter cartridge has turned rust brown or
dark grey.
Look through the viewing window in the cap of the filter cartridge holder
to see the colour of the non-woven cloth.
C The volume of purified water decreases substantially.
D The filtered water still has an unpleasant smell after purification.

To replace the filter cartridge, close the tap and set the water
selection lever to the unfiltered stream position. (Fig. 22)

Tilt the filter cartridge holder 90° backwards and pull it off the
water purifier housing. (Fig. 27)

Unscrew the cap of the filter cartridge holder (Fig. 28).
When you remove the cap of the filter cartridge holder, water leaks
from the water inlet of the holder.

Remove the filter cartridge from the holder. (Fig. 29)

Put a new filter cartridge in the holder (Fig. 30).

Screw the cap back onto the filter cartridge holder (Fig. 31).

Tilt the filter cartridge holder 90° backwards and insert it into the
water purifier housing (Fig. 23).

Pull the cartridge holder upwards until it is in upright
position. (Fig. 24)

Write down the date on which you have to replace the filter
cartridge on the replacement reminder sticker.
Note: The filter cartridge holder and the cap can be purchased as service
parts.

The water purifier and each replacement filter cartridge comes with
a replacement reminder sticker. Write the date on which you have to
replace the filter cartridge on the sticker and stick it on the outside of
the cap. This helps you remember when to replace the filter
cartridge. (Fig. 32)
