1.How to set up the scanner?
Set-up is quite straight forward, simply plug the scanner into a computer via the supplied USB lead, the
device is found without any drivers required. Or you just plug the USB dongle into a spare port and you can
use the scanner wirelessly.
The scanner reads the barcode into memory and then dumps its memory of read barcodes into a text file (or
spreadsheet, or database).
The scanner does not interpret what the barcode is, it just "types" out the numerical equivalent of the
barcode. Once you acquire the barcodes, you have to correlate them to something more meaningful by
either purchasing a service that will interpret the barcode and relate it to a product, or you can use your own
internal inventory system to assign the barcodes to specific products.
2.If you use this scanner wirelessly, when you hear a beep after a scan, but no data is transmitted to
the PC. How to do?
Due to the factory test of the barcode scanner and adapter is separately, some scanners may have
not paired with the included adapters in the package successfully.
Please finish pairing according to the following operations. It takes around 3-15 seconds.

3.Why can the scanner not read the barcodes?
The possible reason is that the setting is off by default, for some barcode types are not commonly used. You
need to activate a specific barcode type to get it to work. Please feel free to contact our Customer Service
Team for further assistance if you know the exact type of barcode that you are referring to.
4.The scanner reads the extra start and stop characters of each barcode, it puts an A at the beginning and a
B at the end. How do we program the scanner to read only the numbers? We use Codabar Mod 10
barcodes.

5.The barcode scanner keeps beeping and the LED indicator is constantly flashing red, but no laser is shining.
There should be some issue with the product welding. Please do not hesitate to contact our Customer
Service Team, we provide hassle-free warranty replacement for defective units.
6.How can i turn off or lower down the sound of the barcode scanner?
Please contact our Customer Service Team for programming file.
7.If I lost the USB receiver, can I use a substitute or buy a replacement?
Each scanner is paired with one USB receiver. If the USB receiver is lost, there is no substitute or
replacement. Please keep the USB receiver well with the scanner.
8.When I use the scanner to read a barcode of an item, I get a different result from the barcode itself.
How to do?
