2.
Close the grill.
The hinge is articulated to cope with thick or oddly shaped foods.
The grill plates should be roughly parallel, to avoid uneven cooking.
RACLETTE GRILLING
Raclette grilling tends to be slower because the top plate is raised above the food but it has the advantage
that you can grill things that would normally become squashed by the plates.
1.
Open the grill 90 degrees (Fig A).
2.
Lift the lid upwards until it will go no further (Fig B).
3.
Pull the lid forward as you lower it to leave a gap between the grill plates (Fig C).
GENERAL
When you have finished cooking, set the switch to O and unplug the grill.
Check the food is cooked. If you're in doubt, cook it for a little while longer.
Cook meat, poultry, and any derivatives (mince, burgers, etc.) till the juices run clear. Cook fish till the
flesh is opaque throughout.
Remove the cooked food with wooden or plastic tools.
USING THE TIMER
IMPORTANT: The timer only sounds an alert. It DOES NOT switch off your grill.
1.
Use the timer button to set the time you want. The range is 0 to 20 minutes.
2.
Once set, the timer will count down then beep 4 times.
3.
The display will then show ON to remind you that your grill is still cooking.
FITTING AND REMOVING PLATES
Allow you grill to fully cool before removing or refitting the plates. Remove or fit one plate at a time.
1.
Grip the handles and slide the catch on each handle marked RELEASE outwards.
2.
Lift the plate off the grill.
To refit the plates:
1.
Hold the handles and slide the catches outwards and hold them there.
2.
Position the plate onto the grill then release the catches.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1.
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning or storing away.
2.
Wipe all surfaces with a clean damp cloth.
3.
Use a paper towel moistened with a little cooking oil to remove stubborn stains.
4.
Wash the drip tray in warm soapy water, or in the top rack of the dishwasher.
Don't use scourers, wire wool, or soap pads.
At the places where the top and bottom plates make contact, the non-stick surfaces may show signs
of wear. This is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the operation of the grill.
RECYCLING
W
To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous substances, appliances
and rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries marked with one of these symbols
must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste. Always dispose of electrical
and electronic products and, where applicable, rechargeable and non-rechargeable
batteries, at an appropriate official recycling/collection point.
