OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS STARTING/STOPPING THE HEDGE TRIMMER (See Figure 3.) 1. Push and hold the lock-out button (1). 2. While holding the lock-out button, squeeze the trigger switch (2) and the hedge trimmer will turn ON. Note: Once the hedge trimmer is turned ON, there is no need to hold the lock-out button. 3.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS USING THE ROTATING REAR HANDLE (See Figure 4.) 1. Ensure that the trigger is released and the unit is Off. 2. Place the hedge trimmer on a flat and even surface. 3. Pull the rotation lever and begin turning the rear handle. Release the rotation lever and turn the handle 90 degrees to either side until it clicks into place and the lever locks into place.
