Setting process
Once all the cards/zones have been configured, start the setting
process for each of these individually.
The process must be completed with each of the zone surveillance
cards.
Click on the Adjustment button (8) to start the card setting process.
An assistant appears which will guide
you through the process of configuring
the loudspeaker line and critical path
surveillance.
Click on Next (9).
A. Critical Path Surveillance.
If
critical
path
surveillance
required from the card, click on Next
(10).
If you wish the card to perform critical
path surveillance, tick the check box
(11) and select a frequency for the
critical path detection (12). For
critical path surveillance in installations
with
MD-500EM
microphone
select 17720 Hz.
Click on the Start Adjustment button
(13).
The sliding controls (14) and (15)
allow you to set the margin of variation
of any volume that may affect the
critical path, that is to say, how much
the volume of the critical path audio
signal can be varied without affecting
surveillance.
Normally,
critical
path
made in all or nothing mode, and so
settings of 90% are recommended.
Once these have been set, click on
Next (10).
