The MEASURE INDICATION contact
Open collector output contact.
In installations with volume attenuators, it is
necessary to activate the security paging of the
attenuators when loudspeaker line surveillance is
performed. In this way, each of the lines is
loaded with the maximum power. The MEASURE
INDICATION contact of the SU-114N performs
this function, activating the priority of the power
unit.
In installations without volume attenuators and
with music programs, without a UMX-02/0 matrix
or without UMX-ECT cards, it is necessary to stop
the music when loudspeaker line surveillance is
performed. The MEASURE INDICATION contact of
the SU-114N performs
generally connected to an external relay, which
function is to cut off the music program during
measurement.

In installations with
attenuators and with music programs, it is
possible to make the measurement without
interrupting the music, attenuating the high
frequencies when loudspeaker line surveillance is
performed. For this purpose a UMX-ECT card is
required with a contact configured to perform this
function. Activation of the UMX-ECT card contact
must be performed by the MEASURE INDICATION
contact of the SU-114N.
The MEASUREMENT ACTIVATION contact
Input contact, which allows an external device to
activate measurement at audible frequencies (4
kHz or 400 Hz). It is activated when the contact
is connected to ground.
