External Sensor – Weather compensation feature The weather compensation sensor can only be used on an E-Tec R boiler when the Alpha Diverter Kit (part No. 6.5500048) or the DHW relay kit (part No. 3.029422) are used, otherwise the DHW temperature will be affected.
Page 25
5.13 OPTIONAL ALPHA SYSTEM DIVERTER KIT The Alpha Diverter Kit operates as a hot water priority valve. If the heating is on and there is a hot water demand the valve will divert the primary hot water to the cylinder until the cylinder sensor is satisfied. The heating will be held off during this period so it is recommended that a high recovery cylinder is used.
