Insert the plug into the headphone socket L at the right side of the TV.
Press ¬ on the remote control to switch off the internal speakers of the TV.
The headphone impedance must be between 8 and 4000 Ohms.
The headphone socket has a 3.5 mm mini stereo jack.
In the
menu select
SOUND
volume.
The Infrared - IR Blaster cables supplied enable you to make timed program
recordings between the GUIDE Plus+ system and accessory VCRs/Cable
Converter boxes.
The IR Blasters work as small sized remote transmitters to turn on and select
channels on the VCR and Cable convertor box in order to accomplish a
timed VCR Plus+ recording. See GUIDE Plus+, p. 34.
Insert the connector end of the supplied Y-shape IR Shooter cable into the
GUIDE Plus+
IR SHOOTER
removed the Demo Pin).
Position the control (transmitter) ends of the IR blaster under the front edge
of the accessory VCR or Cable Converter.
Two transmitting blasters are provided for those who have both a VCR and
an accessory Cable Converter box.
Be sure that the transmitting end of the IR blaster is facing up, ready to
transmit into the front of the remote sensor window on the VCR or Cable
Converter box.
The IR Blaster should be positioned out as far from the front of the VCR or
Cable Box as possible.
