Capture options

By default, five options show when you tap the touch screen in the capture mode:

Select one of the following scene modes to fit your shooting condition.

Auto
Night Scene
Movie Record
Voice Record
Landscape
Flower
Portrait
Snow
Sports
Mode
Displays a number of scene modes to
choose from.
Offers various flash options.
Sets self-timer and continuous shooting.
Offers various focus options.
Decides what types of information to show
on the screen.
Mode
Lets the camera automatically decide most settings, so
you can capture images with ease.
Used when taking a picture in the evening, night, or a
low-light environment.
Captures videos with sound. When viewing the captured
video file later, the
a video file.
Captures background sound only (no images or videos).
When listening to the captured audio file later, the
icon shows indicating that this is an audio file.
Used when taking pictures of natural scenery.
Captures brightly colored flowers by enhancing their soft
outlines.
Makes the subject (usually a person) stand out with a
brighter look.
Increases contrast to highlight the texture and layers of
snow.
Captures a fast-moving subject.
