15.1_Connection to computer

The NPS-10 can be connected to your computer for use as an external hard drive.
REFERENCE
• Windows 8 / 7 / VISTA(Service Pack 1) and MAC OS 10.6.6 and Linux 2.4.18 and later
can fully access exFAT file systems.
• Users of Windows XP must have Service Pack 2 or later and install an update to support
exFAT.
• The NPS-10 cannot be read by any version of Windows prior to Windows XP (Service
Pack 1).
• computer can only recognize the NPS-10. A computer cannot recognize a USB external
drive or any memory cards that are connected to the NPS-10. Thus, the NPS-10 cannot
be used as a memory card reader.
• If connecting to the NPS-10 via USB, use the back slot of the computer.
The front slot might not be able to process the high speed signal.
