Formatting (Initializing) the SD card.

Display the format
selection screen by
touching [

Touch [Format SD card?]
at the center of the
screen.
[Format SD card?] is displayed at
the center of the screen.

Touch [Yes].
If you do not wish to format, touch
[ Yes ].
If you touch [ Yes ], [Are you sure?] is
No displayed at the center of the screen.

Touch [Yes].
To cancel formatting, touch [No].
If you touch [Yes], [Reset frame
number?] is displayed at the center
of the screen.

Touch [Yes] or [No].
If you touch [Yes], the frame No. of
image the next time you photograph
will start from 0001.

• Note that even protected images will be erased when the SD card is
formatted.
• SD card cannot be formatted when the SD card is set to write-protect.
