The set-top box has an embedded Viaccess descrambler working together with a smart
card from your provider. You get access to information from the inserted smart card by
selecting the menu
The Viaccess smart card provides the following menu:
STB information
Smart card information
PIN code modification
Maturity rating
management
Rights consultation
Purchase consultation
Operator message
consultation
Advanced > Card info
Information about hardware version, software version, ID
etc.
Information about pairing of smart card and set-top box.
Change your personal PIN number for accessing
information on the smart card.
Select the age rating for the different channels.
Status of your subscription, i.e. which channels you can get
access to and for how long.
Status on pay-per-event services.
Messages from the operator.
