BEFORE THE FIRST USE
•
Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers,
protective foil or plastic from the device.
•
Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10
cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in
a cabinet or for outside use.
•
When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight smell will occur.
This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This smell is only temporary and
will disappear soon.
USE
•
Closed, grill and panini function
•
Place the fat collecting tray below the grease outlet. During the grilling
the excess fat from the grill plates runs to the grease outlet. Set the thermostat
to the desired temperature.
•
Plug in the socket, the red indication light will light up. Swith the
temperature control clockwise to max position. When heated up you will be
able to
start grilling.
•
Now place the prepared ingredients on the bottom grill plate and close
the grill by pressing the handle downwards. The upper plate tilts in order to
provide even pressure. Normal preparation time is 5-8 minutes; the exact time
depends on the dish, the set temperature and your personal taste. Because
the device is closed the baking process is faster.
Open to 180 °, an open grill
•
The device can also be used as an open flat grill for grilling meat, fish
and vegetable dishes.
•
Just press the switch to the side of the handle and flip the lid back.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Remove the plug from the wall outlet and allow the device to cool both
halves open.
•
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive
cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
•
Remove and empty the fat collecting tray after each use and wash the
tray in warm, soapy water.
