Control Change

■ Enabling or Disabling Program Changes
If you wish, you can disable the program change feature. If the feature is
disabled, the piano will neither accept nor transmit program changes. To
disable or re-enable the setting, proceed as described below.
1. Hold down TRANSPOSE/FUNCTION and press PIANO 2.
Pressing PIANO 2 toggles the setting between Enabled and Disabled.

When you turn the power off, the setting returns to Enabled.
MIDI control change messages are used to remotely control various switches
and controls on an external MIDI device. This allows a remote MIDI device
to control the piano's damper pedal, effects, and other such features, and it
likewise allows the piano to control similar features at an external MIDI
machine.
■ Enabling or Disabling Control Changes
You can disable or enable control changes as described below. If you set this
to disabled, the piano will neither accept nor transmit control change
messages.
1. Hold down TRANSPOSE/FUNCTION and press E. PIANO 1.
Pressing E. PIANO 1 toggles the setting between Enabled and Disabled.
