1. Pull the mains plug (7) out of
the socket.
2. Let the jug cool down com-
pletely.
3. Wipe the surface of the appli-
ance with a damp cloth. Use
a small amount of washing-up
liquid to remove stubborn dirt.
4. Make sure that the electrical
contacts on the underside of
the jug, on the base (8) and
in the On/Off switch (6) do not
get wet.
