6. DIP Switch Setting of Outdoor Unit

There are several DIP Switches in the front of the outdoor unit, which is designed for test and diagnostic
conveniently. It has the advantages that it can monitor the real-time status of the outdoor unit, display the
alarm codes, view the historical alarm codes, and so on.
DSW5(End Terminal
Resistance Setting )
(1) The mark of "■" indicates the position of DIP switches. Set the DIP switches according to the introduction
of DIP switches inside the outdoor unit.
(2) Setting for Transmitting
It is required to set the refrigerant cycle No. of outdoor unit.
(3) Setting End Terminal Resistance
Before shipment, No. 1 pin of DSW5 is set at the "ON" side. If there are 2 or more units in the same
communication system, set No. 1 pin of DSW5 at the "OFF" side from the 2nd refrigerant group outdoor
unit. If only one outdoor unit is used, no setting is required.
