Warning
• Warning: Do not use ear defenders whilst driving a vehicle in
traffic, it can affect your concentration and lead to an accident.
Remember to always remove the ear defenders when
cycling, walking, crossing roads, at railway crossings, or in
other situations requiring your full attention.
• Radio reception can vary depending on your location,
movements, terrain, obstacles, etc.
• Radio reception is sensitive to electrical devices being
turned on and off and this will be audible if you nearby
such devices.
• Do not attempt to dismantle or repair the product, it
contains no parts that can be repaired or adjusted.
• Never subject the product to high temperature, dust,
heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
• Never expose the ear defenders to high temperatures
for extended lengths of time. A car's interior can become
extremely warm in summer. Leaving your ear defenders in
such environments decreases their performance and may
damage them.
• Remove the batteries from the ear defenders if they are not
to be used for an extended period. Remove spent batteries.
Never let them sit in the battery compartment.
• Before use, make sure that the ear cushions are whole and
form a tight seal against your head.
• Never use the product in extremely dry environments where
static electricity easily occurs.
• Use the ear defenders the entire time that you are exposed
to a noisy environment.

Operation
Adjust the ear cups so that they cover your ears comfortably
and form a tight seal against your head.
Inserting batteries
1. Use a coin or other similar object to depress and release
the latch (6) on the underside of the ear cup without
the aerial. Remove the ear cup (5).
2. Insert two AA/R6 batteries according to the polarity markings
in the battery compartment.
3. Replace the ear cup securely and make sure the lead is not
pinched when replacing it.
4. Change batteries as soon as the radio's volume becomes
weak. Always change both batteries at the same time.
Listening to the radio
1. Set the switch (4) to FM mode.
2. Adjust the volume using the volume control (2).
3. Select the desired station with the TUNING knob (3).
Turn the knob until you receive clear reception.
The chosen frequency is shown in the view window.
4. Remember to turn the radio to the OFF position when not
in use.
