Show Delivery reports (Menu 2 4)
This network feature lets you check if your mes-
sage has been sent or not.
Service Command Editor (Menu 2 5)
Within this menu you are able to compose and
send alphanumeric messages to the network.
These messages can be up to 182 characters
long.
Broadcast Messages (Menu 2 6)
This network feature lets you activate/deacti-
vate broadcast message receiving. By selecting
On, you will receive messages on the active
topics. You can edit the topic list, and you can
mark the topics active/inactive.
Message Settings (Menu 2 7)
Message Centre Number (Menu 2 7 1)
Sets the message centre number. You obtain the
number from your network operator.
Messages Sent As (Menu 2 7 2)
The network may be able to convert the mes-
sage to different formats, e.g., E-mail,
FAX, X.400.
Reply via Own Centre (Menu 2 7 3)
This network feature allows the recipient of your
SMS message to send a reply using the same
message centre that you used.
Delivery Reports (Menu 2 7 4)
Allows you to set the reports function to on or
off if supported by the service center. When this
is on, the network informs you if message send-
ing has succeeded or failed.
Message Validity (Menu 2 7 5)
This network feature allows you to set the time
period that your messages are stored at the
Message Service Centre while attempts are
made to deliver them.
Message Font Size (Menu 2 7 6)
The font size can be standard or large.
Set Voice Mailbox Number (Menu 2 7 7)
You can set the number which is dialled when
you enter the menu 2 1, Listen to Voice Messag-
es or press and hold the
Call Options (Menu 3)
Call Divert Service (Menu 3 1)
This network service lets you direct incoming
calls to your voice mail (only voice calls) or to
another phone number. For each of the call for-
warding options you choose
Cancel
or
Check
Own Number Sending (Menu 3 2)
This specifies whether or not to display your
phone number to the person you are calling.
Preset
resets the phone to the default set-
ting (
On
or
Off
) that you have agreed upon
with your network operator.
Call Waiting Service (Menu 3 3)
When this network service is activated, you re-
ceive a tone during a call to let you know that
you have a waiting call.
Anykey Answer (Menu 3 4)
With this on, you can answer an incoming call
by pressing any key except
Automatic Answer (Menu 3 5)
When this is on, your phone automatically re-
ceives an incoming call after one ring. You can
use this function only with a headset or with car
kits which are equipped with the ignition sense
option.
Automatic Redial (Menu 3 6)
When this is on, the phone will make a max. of
ten attempts to connect with a phone number
after an unsuccessful call attempt.
One-Touch Dialling (Menu 3 7)
When this is on, you can dial phone numbers
stored in memory locations 2-9 by pressing and
holding the particular number key.
