Symptom
LEDs do not light
when the cradle is
plugged in.
LED does not light
when the cradle is
connected.
Attempt by the cra-
dle to HotSync the
terminal failed.
The unit locks up
with all LEDs flash-
ing red.

• Reduce or eliminate repetitive motion
• Maintain a natural position
• Reduce or eliminate excessive force
• Keep objects that are used frequently within easy reach
• Perform tasks at correct heights
• Reduce or eliminate vibration
• Reduce or eliminate direct pressure
• Provide adjustable workstations
• Provide adequate clearance
• Provide a suitable working environment
• Improve work procedures.

Cause
Cradle is not receiv-
ing power.
Terminal is not seat-
ed firmly in the cra-
dle.
Terminal was re-
moved from the cra-
dle while the LED
was blinking green.
Terminal's batteries
are dead.
Active Error dialog
box on terminal.
The unit could not
configure itself, or it
lost its lease on its IP
address

Suggested Action
Make sure the power supply
is securely connected and
receiving power.
Reseat the terminal in the
cradle.
Replace the terminal in the
cradle. This allows the cra-
dle to attempt another
HotSync.
Replace alkaline batteries in
terminal.
Error dialog box must be
cleared in the terminal. Use
the stylus to press "OK" on
the terminal's touchscreen.
Hook the unit up to an Ether-
net network with a correctly
functioning DHCP server
and one available IP ad-
dress.
