Operating the Dishwasher

Dishware Drying

At the end of the cycle the dishwasher will stop
and a period of condensation drying will follow.
After 12 - 15 minutes of drying:
• the Cycle Completion Signal will sound.
• the "Clean" light will appear.
• the "Sanitized" light may appear (except in
the Rinse cycle). See section on Sanitization
for more information.
NOTE : If your household water supply is too hot,
your dishwasher's heating time may be reduced
and the "Sanitized" light may not illuminate. Your
Thermador Dishwasher Installation Manual has
information on the recommended temperature for
your household hot water supply.
NOTE : To accelerate and enhance drying, open
the dishwasher door, pull the top rack a few
inches out of the dishwasher, and prop the
dishwasher door against the top rack.
"Sanitized" Light
When the "Sanitized" light appears, it means that
the dishware and kitchenware that was just
washed has been sanitized according to the
requirements of the National Sanitation
Foundation (NSF). For more information on NSF
certification, go to the Wash Cycle Information
section of this manual.
The Cycle Completion Signal
This Cycle Completion Signal is a tone that
sounds when your Thermador dishwasher
finishes washing and drying your dishes. You can
either disable the tone, or you can set it at one of
three volumes.
To change the Cycle Completion Signal
Volume:
1. Open the dishwasher door far enough to
expose the control buttons.
2. Press and hold down the Light Wash Button,
then press and hold the On/Off button.
When the LED Indicator Light shines on the
Light Wash button, release both buttons.
(continued)
3. Now press the Light Wash button until the
tone is either at the desired volume or is
silent.
4. Press the On/Off Button.
5 . Shut the dishwasher door. The Cycle
Completion Signal is now set, and you may
wash your dishes as usual.
