6. Press the MENU button for approx 3 seconds, to switch
to a different mode (Photo shooting or Playback mode).
7. During video recording: Press the MENU button to pro-
tect the current recording immediately.
In photo mode
8. Press the OK button to take a photo (shutter release).
The shutter release sound is emitted.
9. Press the MENU button for approx 3 seconds, to switch
to a different mode (Video recording or Playback
mode).
In playback mode
10. Press the UP or DOWN button to select from the indi-
vidual recordings.
11. Press the OK button to play the video.
12. Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the volume.
13. Press the MENU button for approx 3 seconds, to switch
to a different mode (Video recording or Photo shooting
mode).
14. Press the MENU button to switch to the Settings Mode.
Here you can delete, lock or unlock files.

13 Data transmission

USB mode
1. Connect the USB data cable to the dashcam and com-
puter.
2. Mass storage: Allows access to videos or photos.
3. PC camera: Allows the use of the camera, e.g. as a
webcam.
