    Setup First Time Use After removing the radio from the packaging, connect the radio to the mains using the adaptor supplied or insert 4 x ‘AA’ batteries into the battery bay in the back. Fully extend the aerial and press and hold the ‘Standby’...

    On/Off Turning The Radio On When the radio is initially powered up it is in standby mode and you will need to press the button to turn the radio on. If the radio has been turned off completely, press and hold the button until the radio powers up.

    DAB Mode Selecting A Station Use the TUNE +/- buttons to cycle through the available DAB stations on the display.     Manually Tune DAB To manually tune the radio select ‘Manual Tune’ in the menu options. Use the TUNE +/- to tune the radio in then press ‘SELECT/SNOOZE’ to keep the current tuning. Save as a preset if required (see page 16). This helps in poor signal areas to get a clearer signal.

    Scan Settings You can change the Auto Tune search ability between ‘all stations’ and ‘strong stations’. Select ‘Scan Settings’ from the menu options. Use the TUNE +/- to cycle between either ‘Strong Stations’ or ‘All Stations’. Press ‘SELECT/SNOOZE’ to select the required option.

    System Options System Menu Options Press and hold the ‘INFO/MENU’ button until you see ‘Scan Setting’ in either DAB or FM mode. Use the TUNE +/- to cycle to ‘System’ and press ‘SELECT/SNOOZE’ to select. The options here are: Sleep > Alarm > Time > Backlight > Inactive Standby > Lang. > Reset > SW Ver. Sleep You are able to set the radio to turn itself off after a predetermined amount of time.

    System Options Time All the time and date functions and preferences can be altered here. Use the TUNE +/- to cycle to ‘System’ and press ‘SELECT/SNOOZE’ to select. The options here are: Time/Date > Auto Update > Set 12/24 > Date Format. Time/Date With this option you can manually set the time and date.

    System Options Auto Update It is possible to use the available DAB signal to automatically update the date and time. Use the TUNE +/- to cycle to ‘Auto Update’ and press ‘SELECT/SNOOZE’ to update the date and time. Set 12/24 With this option you can change the format time and date.

    System Options On Level This option lets you set the active display light level. Choose from the options by using the TUNE +/- to cycle through the options and then pressing ‘SELECT/SNOOZE’ to select it: High > Med > Low The asterisk in the top right corner indicates current selection.

    DAB/FM Preset Storing A Preset Once a station has been tuned in if you want to save it, press and hold a number in the preset bank for 2 seconds until the stored message is displayed on the screen. The radio has 3 preset slots for both DAB and FM selections. Recall A Preset To recall a saved preset, press one of the preset numbers to retune the radio to a saved station.
