Please read this instruction manual thoroughly before starting and ensure you are familiar with
the operation of your new Insect Killer.

How it works:

Flies, moths, mosquitoes, and midges are attracted to ultra-violet light. The insects fly against an
electrically charged grid which destroys them quickly and hygienically. They then fall into the
removable base on the underside of the product.

Where to place it:


A generally good place to hang the product is 1.5 to 3 metres above the floor, dependent on
where your plug is. The ultra-violet light attracts flying insects, so don't hang it near other
sources of light. The darkest place gives the best results.
• The product can be placed on a secure and level surface if hanging is not required.

Make sure that there are no obstacles in the insects flying route towards the lamp. The unit will
attract insects on a "line of sight" basis.
• Hang the unit away from people or food.
• When using indoors, keep windows and doors closed as much as possible.
• If you achieve poor results after 24 hours, re-position the unit at a different height or location
and try again.

For best results, leave the unit in position and working continuously for the first few weeks so
that insect breeding and life cycles can be broken. After that, use 12 to 16 hours per day.
Cleaning - unplug first!
Disconnect the insect killer from the mains and wait for at least 30 seconds to discharge static
electricity prior to cleaning by touching the grid with an insulated screwdriver.
