▶ DVMT Pre-Allocated
This setting defines the DVMT pre-allocated memory. Pre-allocated memory is
the small amount of system memory made available at boot time by the system
BIOS for video. Pre-allocated memory is also known as locked memory. This is
because it is "locked" for video use only and as such, is invisible and unable to be
used by the operating system.
▶ DVMT Total Gfx Mem
This setting specifies the memory size for DVMT.
▶ LCD Panel Type
This setting specifies the LCD panel type.
▶ LVDS Backlight Control
This setting controls the intensity of the LVDS backlight.
▶ PlayReady 3 (for Windows 10 only)
This setting enables/disables Microsoft's PlayReady 3 technology. PlayReady is
a content protection technology from Microsoft that includes encryption, output
protection and Digital Rights Management (DRM). Window's PlayReady 3.0
DRM can support 4K content but use more restrictive digital rights management
technology to curb illegitimate streams at the same time.
