    COMPATIBILITY WITH FASTENING SYSTEM Integral part of the monoblock CONTERO is fastening system ROLFIX, fixing the ambulance cot in ambulance car. MEDIROL Company Ltd. strongly recommended to fasten the monoblock only using fastening system Medirol® ROLFIX F102, which with the monoblock Medirol®CONTERO M126 complies with European standard EN 1789 in section 4.5.9.

    Positioning of monoblock Principles of safe positioning When positioning grab monoblock for extendable handles. Always make sure that the front wheels are fixed. Positioning to the folded position no. 5 must always be made in a two-person operation. Positioning in other positions can be performed by one person, but we recommend the assistance of another person.

    Positioning to folded position (position no. 5) When positioning the monoblock to the folded position in a two-person operation grab monoblock for extendable handles. Positioning to the folded position monoblock must always carry more than one person. Never positioning monoblock to the folded position without assistance.
  • Page 14 Green First red lever positioning unlock the front foot and hold it in the unlocked position. Then the green lever unlocks the front legs and rear legs and holds it in the unlocked position.
  • Page 15 Positioning ensures operation at the real part of monoblock by moving down Once the legs begin to fold, operation continues moving down. Release both of two lever during the positioning. Carefully place the monoblock to the ground until the folded legs are not back secured.

    Positioning to intermediate position (position no. 4) Yellow First, brake the rear wheels in the basic position of the sliding forward. Then unlock the rear legs with help of yellow lever and position the rear part of monoblock into position no. 3. During positioning release the yellow lever.
  • Page 19 Green Unlock the front legs with the green lever and by lifting the rear part of monoblock position into the position no. 4. During the positioning release the green lever. Make sure that both legs are secured.

  • Page 21 Position the rear part of monoblock down to position no. 3. Release green lever during positioning. Move rear part of monoblock to position no. 1. Make sure that the rear legs are secured.

    Positioning to Trendelenburg position (position no. 2) Green To set monoblock to Trendelenburg position unlock the front legs with green lever and then lift the rear part of monoblock to position no. 2. During positioning release the green lever. Make sure both legs are secured.
  • Page 23 Green To return to the no. 1 position, unlock the rear legs with a green lever and then move down the rear part of monoblock until the monoblock is fixed into position no. 1. During positioning release the green lever. Make sure both legs are secured.

    Loading to ambulance car When loading into ambulance car monoblock must always be only in the maximum high position no. 1. In another position can not be loading perform and the monoblock may be damaged. Move the front wheels to the platform with fastener in an ambulance car. Before unlocking the legs, make sure that the front legs touch the platform of ambulance car.
  • Page 25 Green First with red lever unlock the fuse of positioning front legs and hold it in the unlocked position. Then with the green lever unlock the front and rear legs and hold it in the unlocked position.
  • Page 26 Lift the rear part of monoblock and push monoblock into the ambulance car. During this operation release both control levers. Secure monoblock in an ambulance to the fastener. With proper securing will eject the control button of handle.

    Unloading from ambulance car First, unlock the monoblock from fastener in an ambulance by pressing unlocking button. Grab the monoblock for rear extendable handles and drive out from fastener with a slight shift forward.

  • Page 29 During unloading of monoblock from ambulance and folding legs release the green control lever. Before leaving with the front wheels the loading platform of ambulance car, make sure that all the legs are properly secured.

    Positioning of backrest Headrest can be adjusted to any angle in the range 0 ° -75 ° by gas spring. To change the position headrest press the control lever positioning and adjust the headrest to the desired position. Then release the control lever to secure.
