! Slide the bracket into the slot [16] on the back of the detector.
! Position the detector such that it is vertical, not tilted, and the screw [21]
is on top.
11.2 Door/window contact 3000M
Remove the protective film from one side of the adhesive pads [35].
! Attach the pads to the middle of the rear housing of the magnet [34]
and sensor [31].
! Remove the foil from the other side of the pads.
! Fix the magnet vertically on the window/doorframe directly next to the
window/door edge. Attach the sensor so that the arrows are level,
leaving a maximum gap of 10mm in closed condition (see Fig. E and G).
The contact will not operate on the hinged side.
Note:
If the window frame is thick, attatch the magnet to the edge of the frame to
ensure a maximum gap of 10mm (see Fig. H).

12. Operation

With each remote control 3000R that is enrolled to the siren the system can
be fully armed, part armed, disarmed, and a panic alarm can be activated.
Use ear protection when testing the system.
Pay attention not to cover the front part of the remote control in order
not to block the wireless connection.
Ensure that the beeping of the siren is audible as confirmation of the
command and so that you are reminded to leave / disarm the system.
12.1 Full arm
! Press the full arm button [10]. The siren confirms with one beep and one
flash. If a delay has been set the siren will beep every 5 seconds and you
have time to leave the dwelling during the delay period.
! If you wish to arm without confirmation beeps then press and hold the
part arm button [8] for 1 second before pressing the full arm button.
After the delay, the armed status is indicated by the LED [3].
12.2 Part arm
See chapter 7.1
! Press the part arm button [8]. The siren confirms with one beep and one
flash. If a delay has been set the siren will beep every 5 seconds.
! If you wish to part arm without confirmation beeps then press and hold
the part arm button [8] for 1 second and then press the part arm button.
The armed status is indicated by the LED [3]. If part alarm without
confirmation is set, 4 additional LEDs will light as night lights. The detectors
which are set to home mode will not cause an alarm by detection.
12.3 Disarm
! Press the disarm button [6]. The siren confirms with two beeps and two
flashes. The LED [3] no longer lights and the system is disarmed.
! If you wish to disarm without confirmation beeps then press and hold
the part arm button [8] for 1 second before pressing the disarm button.

12.4 Panic alarm
! Press the panic button [7]. The siren will sound alarm for approx. 3
minutes.
! You can silence the alarm by pressing the disarm button [6].
13. Alarm
Upon detection, a detector will send an alarm signal to the siren.
If the system is armed, the siren will sound and flash for up to 3 minutes. If
the detector was set to delay, then the alarm will be delayed accordingly.
! To stop the alarm press the disarm button.
If the alarm is not cancelled it will stop automatically after 3 minutes and the
system remains armed.
Note that in operating mode a PIR-detector will be deactivated for 3-5
minutes after each detection) that means that the PIR only sends a
signal to the siren after it has not registered movement for a period of 3
to 5 minutes.

14. Changing the batteries

The batteries in detectors will last typically 6 months. For a PIR-detector in a
room where there is much movement, this period can be shorter. A weak
battery will be indicated by flashing of the detector LED every 3-6 seconds.
Replace the batteries as soon as possible to ensure continued operation.
After the low battery warning starts the detector will operate for a maximum
of 3 weeks (assuming no detection within this period). If the remote control
becomes weak the battery is weak and must be replaced.
! Disarm the siren.
! Open the housing of the remote control.
! Replace the batteries with suitable new ones.
Open and close the housing of the remote control with care, to ensure
that the LED cover and PCB do not slip out of place.

15. Wireless range

Note that the wireless range of each component can differ. The range is
dependent on various factors. A reduction in range can be caused by the
following:
# Walls and floors, especially those containing metal, metalised foil,
reinforced concete or stone
# Coated windows (eg. Energy saving windows), radiators, refridgerators,
mirrors, metalic surfaces or doors
# Electrical wiring and electrical appliances (eg. motors, microwave
ovens)
# Devices using the same or similar wireless frequency.

16. Troubleshooting
