 Press and hold the On/Off key for 3 seconds to switch off the
digital spirit level. If you do not operate the device for approx.
5 minutes, the device switches off automatically.
Hold/Sound Key (8)
 Briefly press the hold/sound key HOLD/SOUND (8) to freeze the
currently measured value on the display. The icon "H" appears on
the display. Press the hold/sound key one more time to return
and show the currently measured values.
 Press and hold the hold/sound key for approx. 3 seconds to
activate respectively deactivate the acoustic beeper function.
The beeper sounds at level (0°) and plumb (90°).
The speaker icon
function is activated.
The beeper function utilizes tones of different frequencies and
lengths to help to get to level (0°) and plump (90°) without having
to look at the display.
When approaching the angle from the left of zero, the beep starts
slowly at 1.40°, beeps faster at 0.7°, faster still at 0.3° and has a
constant tone at a slightly higher pitch at 0°:
Mode Selection/Light Key mm/m % in/ft (10)
 By pushing the mode selection/light key (10) you can convert
angles to different units. Push to change the display units in the
following sequence from degrees (°), to mm/m, to percentage
slope (%) to pitch (in/ft). The pitch reading resolution is 1/8-
inch/feet.
 Press and hold the mode selection/light key for 3 seconds to
enable the background light of the display. If the background light
function is enabled, you can press any key to switch on the back-
ground light of the display.
 Press and hold the mode selection/light key again for 3 seconds
to disable the background light function.
