INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Turn your computer on and allow it to start completely.

Close any programs that produce sound including MP3 players,
media players, VOIP programs, and instant messenger programs.

Insert the USB connector of your X-Bass into an available USB port on
your computer. The X-Bass does not require you to install any drivers. Your
computer should automatically recognize the X-Bass as a USB audio device.

Before removing your X-Bass, you should also close any programs that
produce sound. Never remove the X-Bass while it is in use, as that may
cause sound programs to experience errors.
USING THE X-BASS WITH MICROSOFT WINDOWS

You may see a message indicating that your computer recognizes the device and that the device is ready for use.
You may also hear a sound from your X-Bass.

Test the device by using any application that produces sound. If you hear the sound through your X-Bass, then it is ready for use.

If you cannot hear sound through your X-Bass, close any programs that produce sound and go to:
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices.

Under the Volume tab, click Advanced. A new window will open. Make sure the device volume is not muted and raise the volume bar
all the way to the top.

Minimize the new window. Then go to the Audio tab and select USB Audio Device as the default device for sound playback.

If the Apply button at the bottom is clickable, then click it and then click OK. Now try any application that produces sound.

If the sound is still not coming through your X-Bass, try shutting down your computer. Then, make sure the X-Bass is connected to
an available USB port and turn your computer on. Repeat the steps above.
USING THE X-BASS WITH MAC OS

Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen.

Click System Preferences.

In the Hardware section, click Sound.

In the Sound panel, click Output. Click USB Audio Device as the device for sound output.

Raise the volume at the bottom to your desired level. Your X-Bass should now be ready for use.
