Please don't forget the brand-new JBL pH Sensor!
In order to guarantee optimum reliability when using the JBL ProFlora pH control included with
the set, the unit is sold without a pH sensor. We recommend that you buy a brand-new JBL pH
Sensor at the same time. Your pet supply retailer will also stock these.

1 Safety instructions
Please read and note the following safety instructions to ensure the safe and secure
handling of CO storage cylinders.

Carbon dioxide (CO
• Do not throw the cylinder and do not expose to temperatures over 50°C!
• Do not use force to open the cylinder.
• The cylinder must stand upright when in use.
• For refillable cylinders only use with a JBL ProFlora m001 pressure reducer or other
pressure reducer with W21.8 x 1/14" thread connection
• For disposable cylinders use a JBL ProFlora u001 pressure reducer or other pressure
reducer with M10 x 1 thread connection
• Refillable cylinders: Do not completely empty the cylinder. Refill only at an authorized CO
filling station.
• Only for use in an aquarium.
• CO is heavier than air and has a suffocating effect: do not breathe in the gas.

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store the container in a well-ventilated room, not in a cellar.
• When transporting a single cylinder in a vehicle: Secure the cylinder against sliding or
rolling. Ensure that the valve is not damaged to avoid the danger of CO
adequate ventilation in the vehicle e.g. air fan or open window.
Disposal: Components of your JBL ProFlora CO
should not be disposed of in the normal household waste. Please follow the local disposal
regulations for electrical equipment.
