Replacing the battery

The door lock batteries must be replaced after one year at the latest. In ad-
dition, the batteries must be changed immediately when the red and green
LEDs on the door lock flash alternately, indicating low battery power.

NOTE
Use high-quality alkaline AA batteries.
➤ Loosen the screw for the battery compartment (fig. 6 1., page 8).
➤ Remove the battery compartment cover (fig. 6 2., page 8).
➤ Disconnect the cable for the power supply from the control unit (fig. 6 3.,
page 8).
➤ Remove the four used batteries from the battery compartment (fig. 6 4.,
page 8).
➤ Insert four new AA batteries into the battery compartment (fig. 6 5.,
page 8).
➤ Connect the cable for the power supply to the control unit (fig. 6 6.,
page 8).
➤ Replace the battery compartment cover (fig. 6 7., page 8).
➤ Affix the battery compartment with the screw (fig. 6 8., page 8).
