General safety
WARNING!

 People (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental
capacities or whose lack of experience or knowledge prevent
them from using this product safely should not use it without the
supervision or instruction of a responsible person.
 Only use the product as intended.
 Do not make any alterations or conversions to the product.
 Risk of fatal injury if building regulations and specifica-
tions are not observed! A lock that has not been fitted incor-
rectly may not open quickly enough in emergencies. Observe
building regulations and the specifications of the door manufac-
turer when fitting the door lock.
CAUTION!

 Risk of injury if product is damaged. Damage to metal parts
may lead to injury. A damaged product is a risk to safety. Check
the packaging and door lock for damage. A damaged product
must not be used. Damaged cables and plug connections also
must not be used.
NOTICE!
A
 The door lock may become damaged by drilling and shavings
entering it or dirt. Only drill holes and carry out work that causes
dirt to form on the door leaf if the door lock is removed.
 Tension caused by not fitting the door lock correctly may lead to
damage. Fit the door lock without tension.
