Do not manipulate the

toasting slot with any sort
of object.
If a slice of bread becomes

trapped in the toasting
slot, unplug the mains
plug, allow the appliance
to cool and then remove
the trapped slice of bread.
Do not use knives or other
sharp metal objects to do
this.
Do not operate the appli-

ance beneath kitchen cup-
boards etc. These may be
damaged by the heat emit-
ted from the appliance.
Do not use any solvent, ir-

ritant or abrasive cleaning
products (e.g. oven or grill
spray) or cleaning utensils
(e.g. scouring pads etc.) to
clean the appliance. These
can scratch the surface of
the appliance.
Dry all parts thoroughly af-

ter cleaning.
Some furniture surfaces
may contain chemical com-
ponents which corrode the
rubber feet of the appliance.
This may leave a residue on
the surface of the furniture.
If necessary, place a

heat-resistant mat under-
neath the appliance.
