Powering the Printer
Before first use, the protective tape must be removed from the power nodes on the battery.
1.
To access the battery
compartment, place the printer
upside down on a flat surface.
Push down on the tab to open
the battery compartment.
2.
Remove the battery from the
compartment. Then remove the
protective tape covering the
nodes. Ensure all tape is
removed.
3.
Re-insert the battery into the
battery compartment ensuring
that the nodes on the battery
are in contact with the nodes
inside the compartment.
Reattach the battery cover.
Plug the battery charger into the printer and charge for a minimum of 10 hours to
completely charge the battery.
Note: Charger will not power the printer without the battery installed.
Installing the Paper
The power light will flash blue when out of paper. Follow this procedure to install a new roll of paper.
The printer uses 58mm thermal paper with a maximum roll diameter of 20mm.
1.
Open the printer top cover.
2.
Insert the paper roll with the
end extending from the bottom,
not over the top of the roll.
3.
Pull a small amount of paper
outside the printer, then close
the top cover. Press the feed
button to feed more paper out
of the printer.
