2 OPERATION

2.1 THE CONTROL PANEL
Figure 2-1 shows the Gerber P2C 1200's control panel. The main functions of the
liquid crystal display (LCD) and the control panel keys are explained in the
following paragraphs.

2.1.1 THE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY (LCD)
The liquid crystal display (LCD) consists of one line of 16 characters. The LCD
provides information about the Gerber P2C 1200's status during operation and
also displays menu options that are used to configure the Gerber P2C 1200.
