If NAS units are configured, power them on after the controller enclosures have been powered on. The methods for
powering on controller enclosures and NAS units are the same.
Checking status indicators on the enclosures

After powering on the controller enclosure, check the Alarm/Location indicators of disks.
If the Alarm/Location indicator of a disk is steady red, contact Huawei technical support.
If all Alarm/Location indicators are off, all disks are running correctly.
• If NAS units are configured, use the same method to check their indicators. When checking disk
indicators, you only need to check the disks in slots 0 to 3 on the NAS units.
