The controller enclosure can be connected to application servers using front-end ports. The following figures are
examples of cable connections. The details such as cable appearance and types of interface modules may be
different from those at your site.
 Dorado3000 V3 supports the following types of front-end ports: 8 Gbit/s, 16 Gbit/s, or 32 Gbit/s Fibre Channel,
10GE, 25GE, 40GE, and 100GE.
 Dorado5000 V3 (NVMe) and Dorado5000 V3 Enhanced Edition (SAS) support the following types of front-end
ports: 8 Gbit/s, 16 Gbit/s, or 32 Gbit/s Fibre Channel, 10GE, 10 Gbit/s FCoE, 56 Gbit/s InfiniBand, 25GE, 40GE,
and 100GE.
 Dorado5000 V3 (SAS) supports the following types of front-end ports: 8 Gbit/s or 16 Gbit/s Fibre Channel, 10GE,
10 Gbit/s FCoE, and 56 Gbit/s InfiniBand.
 Directly connecting front-end ports to the application server
